Happy #SeniorSunday friends! Though I’m sure as this school year is coming to a close it is anything but business as usual for the Class of 2020. I know these aren’t the visions you had for your final months with your school aged friends. These weren’t the memories you thought you’d be taking away. You’ve been thrust into adulthood a bit faster than you had anticipated. And I must say I’ve been blown away by these kids overall resiliency and adaptability to such unusual circumstances.
This week I really want to focus each blog post honoring a graduate of the Class of 2020 as we look to moving them to “graduate” status without the ceremonies and honors they’ve so justly earned. Up first is sweet Brookstyn. This girls spirit, mature nature and kindness are so inspiring. I loved hearing her pour over her college decisions at her senior session and hearing about the dreams of her future. She is driven and determined and I know she will be an earth mover.
Congratulations Brookstyn, although we don’t get to celebrate you at the end of May as originally planned; I love getting to take a moment to honor you here and showcase what a sweet soul you are.
