I think for most photographers, winter tends to be a slower season and for that I am somewhat grateful. After the full swing of fall, which often times stretches into December, it’s a time to recharge. It’s a great time to slow down, refocus my energy. Refill my creative bucket and soak up my sweet boys who haven’t seen much of me over the previous months. For me it is always a time to reflect and plan for the year ahead. I can honestly say 2018 was probably one of the most balanced years I’ve had in this business. I was mindful with the arrival of our third babe that stepping back a little would be absolutely necessary. I knew this year would be quality over quantity. It wasn’t going to be a year of rushing through sessions just to pack more in. It was a year to be purposeful and intentional with the clients I was able to work with. 2018 is a year I can proudly say I loved from beginning to end.
I pray 2019 will be a year of continued growth both artistically and for my little business. I’m looking forward to being able to love on some more clients this year as we are staring ever closer to Asher’s FIRST birthday! Watch out 2019… here comes Gina Barnaby Photography same great eye you’ve grown to love with a little twist. And with that I’ll leave you with this amazeballs wintery couples session to swoon over. No better way to start the new year!
