If you’ve been following along this year, I promised new year, new GBP. I’m just blown away by the continued support from both new and previous clients alike as we plan your sessions and I’m throwing out some off the wall ideas at ya. When this adorable Mama contacted me wanting a session just to highlight her and her daughter before little sister arrives I knew immediately what I wanted to do. What’s more girl time then some sweets and chatting with your best gal pal!?
Much to my pleasant surprised she was all for it! I’ve had this vision tucked in my pocket for a while and I was elated to finally see it come to life. And honestly it couldn’t have been with a cuter pair. This mama and her beautiful little lady just beamed the whole session. I loved utilizing a fun candid moment like grabbing your favorite treat to be the perfect ice breaker with a new client. It really eased them into being in front of the camera and made the whole session a breeze. I cannot wait to see this beautiful mama again for her maternity session!
I’ve tried to be so intentional this year to throw out of the box location ideas to my clients. Not every session needs to be a grand landscape with glowing sunset. Yes those are absolutely beautiful. But there is beauty in the everyday that I think we often overlook. The way the sun kisses your kiddos hair in the morning, the scuffed knees from learning to ride a bike, the ice cream smudges on their noses and cheeks. These are all precious moments worthy of remembrance. This time is so short. Let’s honor the beauty in the every day. These moments quickly forgotten are some that take up the biggest parts of our hearts. I can’t wait to capture some everyday magic with you!
